Many, CO2 best: Options for resurfacing are lasers, chemical acid peels, dermabrasion. Dermabrasion has higher risk of scarring and permanent loss of pigment. Chemical peels are an inexpensive option for resurfacing but less effective and predictable than lasers. Co2 laser is the gold standard for resurfacing. It gives the best results but requires great skill and experience to perform safely.

Depends on problem: What options are available depends on the problem, your skin type and overall health. Your best bet is to consult several different plastic surgeons. See before and after pictures, and be sure you feel comfortable with that surgeon. Also, check references with friends. Your doc will also be able to suggest the plastic surgeons he/she may trust most.
