Fribroma: If you have not had your wisdom tooth removed it may well be that the tooth is attempting to erupt causing a bump. An intraoral xray will be helpful. If you have already had the wisdom tooth removed it may be a fibroma, or scar tissue, resulting from healing of the gum. It is not usually harmful.

See your dentist: There are so many things that can cause a bump on your gums. Without seeing it it could be anything from normal anatomy to infection or something worse. Have your dentist check it out to be sure.
