Why fix what's not..: I know what your question is but my question is why fix what's not broken? In other words, why were you switched from one anti-depressant to another when none are demonstrably better than the rest. However, for any given individual, there may be a best, for which benefit outweighs (risk of) side effects. So yes, while Cymbalta (duloxetine) is still considered safe for general population, your results may vary.

Potential SE's : Cymbalta (duloxetine) like all other antipressants has potential side effects. It is particularly helpful for depression accompanied by certain types of physical pain.
