Try glucosamine.: These symptoms are consistent with wearing out the cartilage in your knee joint. First aid is taking glucosamine to give your body additional nutrients to help it grow new cartilage. It may take a few months. Does not work well enough if smoking or kneeling. Do not take anti-inflammatory drugs. They stop cartilage repair. Glucosamine can also be applied by cream, and by injection.
