See your Doctor.: Both systolic (upper) and diastolic (lower) numbers are too high. If these levels are persistent you will need medication. If you are a smoker, stop at once. If you use lots of salt, cut down. If you drink alcohol in excess, cut down. This usually causes no symptoms. You need close and regular follow-up.

Diet and watch first: Your recommended blood pressure is less than 140/90 mm hg unless you have heart disease, kidney disease or diabetes (< 130/80 mm hg) . I would start low salt diet or dash diet first, keep daily blood pressure for a month. If your blood pressure on average is >140/90 mmhg, i would talk to your doctor for blood pressure medication. See your doctor immediately for blood pressure > 180 mm hg.
