I've had a diffuse pain in my left arm for more than 2 months , should i see a cardiologist?

Not necessarily: If the arm hurts most or all of the day it is not likely to be your heart. If the arm hurts when you exercise and goes away when you rest that' s a different story. If there are no other symptoms than arm pain most of the day without relationship to physical activity it is not likely to be related to your heart.

Probably not first: While left arm discomfort can be a referred pain from myocardial ischemia, a persistent 24/7 discomfort for multiple days is unlikely to be an anginal equivalent. Anginal equivalents (like angina) occur when myocardial demand exceeds supply, and this will be in response to stresses on the system. It lasts minutes typically, going away when demand falls. Think musculoskeletal causes.
