POTS: Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome is a condition in which the heart abnormally has an exaggerated increase in heart rate in change in position from lying down to standing up. This can result in varied symptoms including palpitations, dizziness, fainting (less brain flow), chest pain, numbness/tingling. You should see your cardiologist for continued management.
