It's a common time.: People with true panic disorder often wake up in the middle of the night experiencing a full blown panic attack. It's so scary it drives people to the er thinking they are having a heart attack. If yout truly think it's a heart attack go to the er.Then if there are no signs of a heart problem go next to your primary care physician. If findings are negative a psych evaluation is in order.

Good day good night: Frequency and intensity of panic attacks depends on your fears, your level of stress, ingestion of caffeine or other stimulants. Attacks can come day or night. Panic disorder treatment will help you master techniques that will address these problems. If you get adequate treatment for your panic attacks, not only your daily attacks, but also those that occur while you are asleep will tend to recede.
