Best answer is: To find a good counselor who can teach you cognitive behavior skills to reset the pattern of environmental triggers, anxious thoughts and the onset of panic sx. You may need medication. In most cases something happened that caused you anxiety in the past while driving and you are repeating this experiancce in some way with each new panic attack.

Relaxation breathing: If you want to avoid medication for your panic attacks, i highly revommend the book: the relaxation response by benson. Read the entire book, the start doing the exercises as contained in the book. Start with 5 minutes twice a day working up to 10 minutes twice a day. You will soon learn to relax instantly, anytime you want or need to, like in the car. It's not hard. Good luck.
