New comfort activity: I know it is hard when you've become accustomed to using certain foods to make yourself feel good but it's not just good enough to substitute one food for another. You need (with work, perseverance, and conviction) substitute another activity for comfort food. For example, watch a movie you like, go to a favorite park that you feel safe and at peace in, do some type of hobby or exercise.
