Ask your PCP: Your pcp should be able to recommend a urologist that has expertise with vas reversals. Make sure to ask what their success rates are with pregnancy rates, as opposed to patency rates. Also, pregnancy rates are significantly decreased if the vasectomy has been longer than 8-10 years. At that point, ivf with sperm recovery from the testicle (tesa) may be the better choice.
