i am having abnormal periods could this be a sign of fibroids. i have had abnomaral periods and pap smears in the past.?

Abnl periods: yes: Fibroids are a common cause of irregular menses (usually cause heavier, longer or more painful, more frequent than nl periods). They do not cause abnormal pap smears.

Bleeding: Have you had a hysteroscopy? Even two small fibroids if positioned in the uterine cavity can give you constant bleeding.
