I'm 54 and just got off the pill after 14 years. i have continuous light brown mucous. pap normal, endo 7mm, 3 fibroids, one simple cyst. what could this be?

Body: Is still adjusting to being off the pill. You still have some lining to shed. Hormones need to adjust . Brown discharge is just old blood. Fibroids can bleed but if you are going into menopause, and you won't be able to tell that for 3 months off the pill, the fibroids should start shrinking.

Bacterial Vaginosis: Is it light beige? Bacterial vaginosis can look light beige. Have your doctor test for bacterial vaginosis. If it is brown it could be light bleeding. It is good that your endometrium is only 7mm but ask your ob/gyn if you should have an endometrial biopsy.
