Occasionally: Antidepressants may be helpful in decreasing symptom severity and frequency. I personally do not generally use Prozac (fluoxetine) but it may be helpful in constipation predominant ibs.

It cld b used: Prozac (fluoxetine) helps with anxiety but ssris can cause diarrhea so it's up to what your docs judgement.
