Get CBC ask abt IVIG: You can have a CBC checked. If your platelets are below normal, ask you OB to consider giving you IVIG which will increase your platelet count and taking the anti-platelet antibodies out of circulation. This will also decrease the amount of antibodies you may be transmitting to your baby. But know that most mothers don't even know they have ITP, they give birth, and the babies are usually ok.
