podiatry: Podiatry is the study and treatment of diseases and afflictions of the human foot and ankle. We treat surgically an non-surgically. As such we see a large age range from kids to geriatrics, and see wounds, mechanical conditions, sports medicine, primary care, etc. We are not trained in the allopathic method as stated above.

Foot, ankle and lowe: I agree, however it varies state to state. In Florida and in some other states the law includes the ankle and lower leg.
