How common is the use of cardiovascular agents in podiatric practice?

Podiatrists: Generally do not write for these medications. However, they can be used off label. For example, topical verapamil is used for treatment of plantar fibromas. For cardiovascular purposes an internist or cardiologist should be writing the script.
