A member asked:

Can't lose weight, i'm 135 lbs, normally 120 lbs. healthy diet. i exercise, starved myself thyroids are normal. could it be i am magnesium deficient ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Inbility to lose weight means you need to get a resting metabolism rate done to see what you can eat to maintain weight vs lose weight. Also subclinical thyroid is important to treat as well as adrenal fatigue which can cause weight gain or difficulty losing weight and vitamins. Magnesium can help with insomnia, anxiety, muscle cramps but not with weight loss. Food intolerances r a possiblity.
