No : No one can tell you why labor isn't starting... If we knew, then we'd make a drug to make it happen on time, every time (well, i guess that's pitocin!) failed inductions are incredibly rare. Pitocin is synthetic oxytocin, the hormone your body makes naturally to cause uterine contractions. It's highly likely to start your labor, especially if you are at or beyond your due date.
