Why can a labour induction by a pitocin (oxytocin) drip cause a subarachnoid hemmorhage? how is that possible? what mechanisms lead to that?

Hypertension: Subarachnoid hemorrhage usually occurs from increased blood pressure or trauma. Pitocin (oxytocin) is known to increase blood pressure, sometimes, as an undesired side effect. It is possible this is the mechanism.
