Juvederm : Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid that acts as a normal, space occupying, substance found in your body. Sculptra, Radiesse (dermal fillers) and even artefil are biostimulatory and instigate the production of collagen (sculptra have the greatest lead in this category). Be healthy and be well, james m. Juvederm : Juvederm works more by acting as a filler rather than stimulating collagen growth.

Juvederm : Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid which is a complex carbohydrate found within our skin but unfortunately this is not as good as Radiesse (dermal fillers) at producing collagen. The clinical results are what we are looking for mostly (certainly our patients) and this product is wonderful for re-establishing loss of volume - be it with collagen or be it with "filler". There are studies to show collagen production with sequential hyaluronic acid (juvederm). Bottom line, it works great and even better if used over time. My best to your health and well being. Dr. Smith.

Yes: There does seem to be some change in the collagen in the area injected over time.

Growing Collagen: Collagen growth stimulation is an important aspect of the longevity of the filler result and the rejuvenation obtained by dermal fillers. See your plastic surgeon or dermatologist for an evaluation to get the most appropriate advice for you.

Fillers and collagen: Not all fillers induce collagen production. The standard hyaluronic fillers do not.
