A member asked:

Is radiesse (dermal fillers) or juverderm better in the nose?

Juvederm: You should get a number of different answers as this depends heavily on physician preference. I don't like either one for the nose, but if i had to choose, it will be juvederm. The better question is where in the nose, the bony part or the softer tip part? I would not use either one in the tip area.

Either work well: Juvederm does not last as long but is reversible. I have used both in the nose.

Using: Using a filler to augment your nose is not your best option. Placement of grafts during surgery are a better method to improve your nasal appearance.

Temporary: Either works. Advantages and disadvantages to both. Neither is permanent. Seek advice about permanent solutions. See facial plastic surgeon.

Both are good: Radiesse (dermal fillers) is generally injected deeper and can provide a longer lasting, Juvederm can easily be corrected or dissolved. Both are capable of producing excellent and natural looking results. Good luck.
