Hyaluronic : Hyaluronic acid fillers (such as perlane, restylane, (dermal fillers) juvederm) can lead to a bluish skin discoloration if placed too close to the skin surface. This is due to what's called the tyndall effect and is related to how light is scattered by the filler. This blue discoloration isn't permanent as it should resolve once the product is resorbed. You can also dissolve the product sooner with hyaluronidase (an enzyme that dissolve hyaluronic acid). The main way to prevent the problem is to place the filler deeper within the tissues so it can't be seen.
