I : I don't know any medical provider who would provide information on how to do outpatient self detoxification without knowledge of your medical history or without monitoring. It would be bad medicine i recommend finding an addiction specialist in your area as well as involvement in narcotics anonymous. I am glad that you want to come off the Clonazepam but you need professional involvement to do so safely. Take care.

Clonazepam: I agree with dr. Fowler. You are taking 12 of your pills every day, at the rate you mentioned. Your supply will run out quickly, and you will need much longer than the supply you have to taper safely. Please see an addiction medicine physician asap.

Slowly...: 60 0.25mg tablets remaining...current use is 3mg or 12/day. One approach would be to reduce to 8 per day x 2 days, then 6 per day x 2 days, then 4 per day x 3 days. After one week you would have 20 tablets left. If you could taper to 1-2 tablets per day for another 2 weeks, perhaps you could return to prescribing provider to continue a taper plan with a 30 day/30 tab 0.25mg refill.
