Is it dangerous to stop cold turkey after 0.5mg clonazepam intermittently on need basis for 6 months? what are my risks/dangers? taper?

Klonopin (clonazepam): Not sure what your daily dose is, but recommend tapering by 1/4 tablet every 3 days until discontinue.

No taper needed: It is unlikely that will experience withdrawal if you kept to a regular 0.5 mg of Clonazepam. Benzodiazepine dependence or continued use of a higher dose would require a taper. I would suggest to keep a few if you experience a recurrence of anxiety.
