Klonopin (clonazepam) taper: It's not uncommon for the last steps in tapering off Klonopin (clonazepam) to bring some discomfort. Sometimes this can also be hard to tell apart from a person's baseline anxiety returning. I suggest you tell your physician what you're experiencing, so that s/he can help you move in a healing direction. And yes, as a doctor I have slowed such tapers for "a milder landing.".
