A member asked:

Is any addiction risk if taking klonopin (clonazepam) 0.25 mg every 3-4 days ? i've been doing this for 6 months now.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not Likely: It is unlikely that one would develop a physical addiction by using such a small dose as described. Having taken the Klonopin (clonazepam) over a six month period, one might develop a psychological dependence. If, after stopping klonopin, (clonazepam) one develops withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, or tremors, discuss with prescribing md. There are always exceptions, so beware of prolonged use.
