Klonopin (clonazepam) taper: Working with your doctor, you could try decreasing by .25mg every couple of weeks. Sometimes withdrawal symptoms are experienced if decreasing more than 10% a week, but you and your doctor could start from the .25mg decrease and monitor your progress carefully. Good luck.

Klonopin (clonazepam): is a long acting benzodiazepine. I usually try to get people on a twice a day schedule and take away 1/2 a mg every two weeks. The idea is to minimize risk of withdrawal anxiety and seizures. Do your titration under a physician's supervision. Best of luck with this.

Titrate slowly: The best way is a slow titration schedule. Try lowering one dose slightly. After a while lower another dose slightly and so on.
