Not : Not enough information to answer your question. Did you have a recent extraction or other dental work? Do you have periodontitis (gum infection)? Are you taking any bisphonate drugs (fosamax, aredia, (pamidronate) zometia) for osteoporosis, multiple myeloma, breast cancer, or prostate cancer? You seek an evaluation by a general dentist or oral and maxillofacial surgeon as soon as possible.

Remove bone fragment: Bone fragments will only move to the surface on its own. Sometimes it does not come to the surface. If you have pain with them, you may want to consider having them surgically removed.
