Commonly : Commonly for a brow lift to be covered by insurance there needs to be a documented visual field deficit. This would be performed by an ophthalmologist. Be healthy and be well, james m. Ridgway, md.

Brow : Brow lift surgery can be covered by insurance if it is done to correct a documented visual field defect. It many cases brow lift surgery is combined with eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) to further improve the problem.

A : A brow lift is usually a cosmetic procedure which is not covered by insurance. The only exceptions would be brow ptosis (sagging) caused by things like trauma or nerve injury.
