Yes, : Yes, if they are really only a tiny bit overlapped, the results can be very good. However, when teeth are ver crowded you can greatly improve the look and function of your veneers if you get them straightened first. Just keep in mind that after orthodontic treatment you need to wait until your teeth stabilize before you can get veneers.

You : You contradict yourself with the question you are asking. You state that you have very crowded teeth and some of the overlap a tiny bit. Teeth that are very crowded would be difficult to veneer while teeth that overlap only a tiny bit may be easier to veneer. What would make the most sense based on what you are saying is orthodontics (braces, invisalign, 6 month smiles) to straighten the teeth and then veneer them to make them look nicer. Talk to a dentist in your local area to see what your options are.

Yes: Yes, but the teeth would nave to be reduced first. If th overlapping is too much, orthodontics may be a better answer.

Not Good: Crowded teeth can be prepared for veneers and it will look good. The problem comes that crowded teeth are not stable in their position and can become more crowded. When this movement occurs, the veneers will most likely break apart. This gets expensive in having to redo veneers frequently. Orthodontics is a much better answer overall.

Clinical Evaluation: Nothing is healthier than teeth that are properly aligned. It can easily be cleaned and the periodontal tissues are healthier because teeth can easily get impacted in a crowded dentition. That is how you can keep your teeth forever. You can have them veneered ( if necessary) or bleached.

Yes, but...: If you search long enough you will find someone willing to do just about anything, but is it the best treatment for you. Veneers make crooked teeth look straight, but if roots are crooked may actually be harmful. Invisalign and 6 month smile make teeth look straight, but do not correct root problems. Best solution may be have orthodontist straighten them first, then minimal restorations require.
