how much would veneers cost to close a gap in teeth?

$$$-$$$$: It depends on where you are. I don't know there are many dentists out there that charges less than a $1000/procelain veneer, but this can be as high as $2500/veneer, say from a dentist in downtown manhattan, ny. Usually to close a gap in front, you would need two veneers. Doing just one veneer may make one tooth bigger than the other, and can cause an esthetic problem.

It varies: Veneers, when done by an experienced cosmetic dentist, will close most spaces nicely. It generally takes at least 2, but if the space is quite wide, it may take 4 veneers to make it look nice. The fee is not less than $1400 and generally closer to $2, 000 per tooth.

It depends...: The size of the gap will determine how many veneers are needed to achieve a desireable result. The cost of the veneers is highly variable and is based upon the experience of the dentist, the expertise of their dental lab, and the price structure within the individual practice. I would not necessarily go to the "cheapest" dentist. Please seek reviews from friends or online sites. Good luck.

Brush, rinse, floss: Brush and keep them clean, floss them gently and try rinsing with warm salt water in that area specifically. Rinse for a minute or so or as long as you can. This should help it go away. If the swelling is not going away you need to see your dentist to have it checked out. Good luck.

Essential tremor: This maybe part of an essential aka familial aka intention tremor. These are not serious but tend to run in families. They usually are seen most in hands when trying to lift things, are made worse by caffeine, stimulants and anxiety. If concerned consult a neurologist.

Be seen again: If you are still having problems and your symptoms are not getting better, a second exam by your doctor would help in deciding whether you need additional treatment. Depending of the severity of your symptoms, your doctor will likely decide on placing you on a short course of steroids to help in reducing the swelling of your tonsils. Also, another exam will help in ruling out tonsillar abscess.

Totally Close?: Could take a month or more to fully close but to have the pain go away could be from 4-14 days +/-. It really depends on the anatomy of the area after the surgery.
