If : If you are having a plaque placed, you do not have to avoid other people. The radiation is focused to the specific area where the cancer is. If you have specific questions about the dos and don'ts after surgery, i would ask your eye surgeon.

Yes, : Yes, if you have a radioactive plaque placed on the surface of your eyeball, you will emit radiation while it's on your eye. After a few days, they usually take it off and then you will no longer be radioactive. I would discuss this with your ocular oncologist and have him/her let you know if you have to avoid other people during the time.
