Typical : Typical childhood (idiopathic) scoliosis progresses during the growth spurt and is less concerning after you stop growing. It may worsen from arthritis in old age. Other rare types of scoliosis may progress after you stop growing. Good luck!

Yes: Yes, scoliosis can progress after growth is finished and it usually comes down completely to the size of the curve. Curves less than 45 degrees usually do not progress after growth and curves over 45 degrees will continue to relentlessly progress despite being done growing. Thank you for the question.
