Dr. Carl Spivak

Carl Spivak, MD, has joined Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. He is a neurosurgeon who specializes in the treatment of degenerative diseases of the spine. He is one of the few neurosurgeons in New Jersey with dual expertise in both minimally invasive spine surgery and interventional pain management. This affords him a unique perspective in determining the optimal treatment for each individual patient’s needs, while using the most cutting-edge technologies. Dr. Spivak did specialized fellowship training in complex spine and peripheral nerve surgery at Stanford University and minimally invasive spine surgery and interventional pain management at Semmes-Murphey Spine and Neurological Institute.
