To : To me, there are both the same thing made by 2 different companies. Depending who you ask, depends on what is best. It is basically coke vs pepsi, they are both colas, just like juvederm and Restylane (dermal fillers) are both hyaluronic acid fillers. I personally prefer Restylane (dermal fillers) over juvederm, mostly because i can get it without lidocaine, which is completely useless in a filler-my opinion, and their sales rep actually comes to see me and help with marketing. Unless you are getting your lips done, you may want to look into Radiesse or perlane. These last twice as long. Good luck!

I : I wouldn't say that juvederm is necessarily better than restylane (dermal fillers). A lot depends on where the product is being injected. They're both the same chemical, but are made by different companies.

I : I personally prefer juvederm but as other posts note, it is really a matter of injector preference. Dr edwards.

They both work well.: "coke versus pepsi." both fillers are excellent, and are very similar. We use more juvederm.

Very similar: They are very similar, as i tell all patients, "coke vs pepsi". I've used both fillers for many years with similar results and longevity. If i had to make any differentiation it would be that juvederm goes in a little "softer" so may feel a little more natural but it absorbs more water so can tend to look "fuller" while with Restylane (dermal fillers) what you inject is what you get.

Fillers: there are many fillers on the market. Restylane (dermal fillers) and Juvederm are both hyaluronic acid fillers. But they have been processed differently. Which to use can be influenced by the doctor or the patient.
