Specialty: Pediatric dentistry is one of the specialties of dentistry just like pediatrics is one of the specialties of medicine. Although all dentists are taught to treat children, pedodontists have at least 2 years (5, 000+ hours) of specialty training in care for children. Best suggestion, ask your dentist for a recommendation.
