Yes, but: Yes, but Pedeatric Dental Specialists treat primarily children & adolescents, just as a Pediatrician treats primarily children & adolescent medical patients. Pedodontists will also treat special needs patients of all ages. Specialst limit their practices to their area of specialty training.
