I : I agree with dr. Davantzis' recommendation.. Unusual pigmentation in the mouth may be something a benign as racial pigmentation or a freckle or an concerning as cancer such as a melanoma. The only way of getting an accurate answer is have the lesion evaluated by a specialist and obtaining a biopsy of the tissue, usually a simple in office procedure done under local anesthesia.
