How long does it take to see the final results of chin liposuction? i know it takes a few weeks to really heal after chin liposuction. is that when you see the final results, too?

It : It can take up to a few months for the underlying scar contracture to further tighten the neck skin. By then the swelling should be fully resolved as well.

Months: It will take a few months to achieve final results as the skin continues to contract and tighten. Healing, if done with vaser, takes only a few days, but final results are not appreciated until several months out.

Months: Although much of the swelling is gone within a few weeks, i tell patients that it may be a few months before all of the swelling has resolved and even longer before the skin has fully "redraped" after liposuction surgery.

Six month or longer: Most of the visible edema will be gone by a month or so but the skin retraction will go on for months afterwards.
