Sure, : Sure, a dentist can tell you if your overbite is likely to cause problems later on.
If your overbite is really severe, for example, your lower teeth may strike the soft tissue of your palate or the gums just behind your upper front teeth. Sometimes an overbite can prevent your lower jaw from functioning in a comfortable position.

Please consult an orthodontist and he will give you the information and details, the pros and cons(if any)for treating your overbite.

Maybe: Overbites can be the culprit for excessive wear of your front teeth with age. Getting an evaluation with an orthodontist will help you determine if treatment would be beneficial in your situation.

Some is normal !: Some amount of overbite is normal. Your upper teeth are supposed to cover part of your lower teeth. Normal overbite can range from about 20%-75% depending on how the rest of the bite is set up. If you do not grind your teeth or have jaw joint (TMJ) pain, then most likely your amount of overbite is fine for you. Ask your dentist what they think at your next visit, but i wouldn't be overly concerned.
