Legumes, greens &...: Folic acid is a synthetic chemical added to "enriched grains" such as breakfast cereals and pasta. Folate (folic acid) is the naturally occurring form and is found in many foods the best sources are legumes (beans, lentils, peas), leafy greens (esp.
