Meat and leafy vegs: B12 is found in red meat, and liver folic acid is best found in leafy vegetables. Iron is best found in red meat- if you want the iron that is best absorbed. Non heme iron which is not as well absorbed is also found in leafy vegetables like spinach.

B12 : B12 principally derives from animal sources and eggs. Dairy has little. Select soy can provide some. More vegan foods are being supplemented with B12, as B12 defici, ency is common among vegans. Check with your favorite health food store. Iron from red meat and greens. Folic acid from fruit, veg, gain, meats and nuts. See www.vegetarian.org.uk/factsheets/b12factsheet.html
