Is it safe for me to take "forskolin" and "7-keto" (as see on dr. oz) to help with weight loss? i take 10mg of metropolol for high blood pressure.

This : This is an important question, for which i was not able to find a definitive answer doing a medline search. I cannot comment on the dr oz show since I have not seen it, however, forskolin has been used and marketed for weight loss and i found one study that supports this. It does appear that it relaxes blood vessels, therefore, the blood pressure might drop. Since metoprolol also reduces blood pressure, you may experience undesirable decrease in your blood pressure if you take both forskolin and metoprolol. Upon my review of the fda website, 7-keto-dhea or "7-keto" appears to be safe. However, side effects including heart palpitations have been reported.
