Submental : Submental neck liposuction can work very well to remove a double chin. A facelift or neck lift may help with tightening loose neck tissue. Depending on your age liposuction alone may work well. The younger you are and the more elastic your skin the more likely it is that your neck skin with redrape properly after liposuction. Depends: If you are young(under 40) and have firm skin with just excess fat under your neck liposuction should be successful. If you have loose skin with or without fat liposuction will not work as well. You could check into a neck lift if you do not need a full facelift.

Chin lipo vs lift: Liposuction to the area under the chin will effectivel remove fat, but if there is any laxity to the skin or a large volume of fat, then the result will not be good. A necklift/facelift would be necessary in that case. If the skin tone is only slightly lax, combining thermage or ulthera at the same time as the lipo could be a possibility.

Depends: Improvement of the area under the chin is based in the problem causing the contour irregularity. Excess skin and loose muscle is generally best treated with a face/neck lift. A weak chin is best improved with either an implant or bone surgery. In cases of significant fat excess in the setting of appropriate bone position and youthful, elastic skin without muscle laxity, liposuction can help.

Lipo vs surgery: Liposuction is effective if the skin will contract. . Surgery is required if the skin is lax. I recommend seeking the counsel of a plastic surgeon to determine what is your best option.

Yes generally: Submental liposuction (or microliposculpture) is a minimally invasive technique for removing excess deposits of fat under the chin. It can improve the look of a double chin, make the angle between your chin and neck more attractive, and define your jawline. It is not a neck lift, though, so it will not address extra loose skin, neck bands, or facial sagging.

Depends what...: You need. If you have loose, saggy skin in the neck - then you probably do indeed need the facelift or necklift. If you have great skin tone, but just a little fat, then the chin lipo would probably be ok by itself.

Depends: You probably mean your neck vs saggy chin! if you are young and the skin can shrink, liposuction may work well. If you if you are in your 40's or older, you may consider a surgical option. But strictly speaking a facelift and a neck liposcution are for two different clinical problems.
