Facial hair: It may help, but for permanent hair removal consider laser hair removal. It is costly and does require several treatments.

Laser hair removal: The best results for hair removal are seen with diode or yag laser (many different companies make them) treatments performed by a medical practice who routinely does hair removal. Good luck.
