I : I am sorry but what is the question? If you are wondering if it could be cancer? Then the answer is yes it could be. If you are wondering if it is cancer? Then the answer is nobody will know until there is either a biopsy of the lump done of after a surgery and the pathologist looks at the specimen your doctor removes if you have surgery. But many times a doctor's suspicion of cancer is really high evern before a procedure and that suspicion is confirmed by the pathologist. Good luck.

Complete the workup: Get the pet scan and any other labs and tests your health care provider thinks are necessary. Unexplained weight loss is a sign of cancer. Lumps and tenderness need to be explained too. Get all the information possible, perhaps including a biopsy, so a proper plan of action can be determined.
