Talk to dentist: Cancer is rare at your age and your doctor said it is not cancer so try to relax. Did your doctor tell you what is gong on? Did you see a dentist? It is important for your peace of mind to know the answer, so ask questions. Most lumps are caused by traumas and heal without treatment. Other causes can be infections, or blocked glands. Talk to your doctor and your parents about your concerns.

You need reassurance: From your dr that your symptoms are not from cancer or any serious condition. Ask your dr for the exact diagnosis. The lump could just be a cyst or a salivary gland enlargement. Cancer is uncommon among young people. Take care!

Trust your Dr.: If not satisfied with him, get a 2nd opinion. It could just be a cyst or salivary gland inflammation or infection. Take care!
