Can a collapsed lung lead to a heart attack in someone with a family history of heart problems?

Yes: A "large" collapsed lung, especially one where the leaked air is pushing on the lung and heart (tension pneumothorax), is an emergency regardless of any family history of heart problems. A heart attack occurs when heart muscle can't get enough oxygen, such as when blood flow to the heart is blocked or when the blood oxygen is way too low. A big pneumothorax can block both blood flow and air flow.

Yes: A collapes lung can cause a heart attack either by lowering your oxygen levels or by causing a tension pneumothorax, which can prevent circulation of blood by preventing your heart form filling with blood and thereby preventing your heart from pumping blood to the rest of your body (and to itself).
