Chet tube: Please go to the er right away!. You just had a heart attack and a collapsed lung - now the chest tube does not work- this is no good as it affects BP etc.. And will put added strain on the heart risking another heart attack.

Another or: Presumably you or your loved one are in an ICU at this point. What happens next depends on why the chest tube isn't working. Anotherr chest tube may be placed, the breathing tube may be moved so that only one lung is ventilated and a surgical repair attempted, etc. Your surgeon or your intensivist should tell your their plans.
